TwoWork is a simple, web-based time registration service designed for small and medium-sized businesses with up to 50 employees. We help companies and their employees keep track of working hours - with easy reporting for payroll.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy, GDPR Policy, and Data Processing Agreement, form the complete agreement between you (the subscribing company) and TwoWork. By creating a TwoWork account and completing your first payment, you accept these Terms.
By accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to enter into this agreement on the company's behalf.
1. Subscription and Account
1.1 User Limits and Pricing
You can manage up to 50 users (active/inactive) on a single account.
The subscription costs 299 DKK per month (plus VAT), which includes all features and email-based support.
We will charge you monthly on the same date each month.
1.2 Account Management
You're responsible for all users you authorize to access your TwoWork company account.
You can't give access to third parties not covered by these terms.
It is up to you to set and manage user permissions (e.g., who can edit or view things) through your account settings.
1.3 No Binding Period
There is no binding period. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
To cancel, head to the payment feature on the Company page before your next billing date to avoid the next charge.
Once canceled, you keep access until the end of your current paid period. After that, you have 90 days to download your data in a structured, commonly used format — then we will securely delete it.
You can export your data at any time during your subscription, including if you wish to switch to another provider.
We will notify you by email shortly after the 90-day period begins.
1.4 No Refunds
We do not offer refunds — whether you pay monthly or upfront for a longer period.
If you pay by invoice for a longer period and cancel before that period ends, you keep access for the rest of the period you already paid for, but no money is refunded.
The same applies to monthly card payments — if you cancel mid-month, you keep access until the end of that month, but we do not refund the remaining days.
1.5 Technical Requirements
To use TwoWork, you will need a solid internet connection and a recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for the best security and compatibility.
Contact us if you're not sure if your system is compatible.
2. Rights and Responsibilities
2.1 Your Rights to Use TwoWork
You can use TwoWork for your business as long as your subscription is active. This includes your employees and temp workers.
This right is just for you — no passing it along or reselling it to anyone else.
2.2 Intellectual Property
We own TwoWork — everything from the code to the look and feel.
You own whatever data you put into TwoWork - it is yours, no question.
We may use anonymized data to maintain our service.
2.3 Your Obligations
Don't reverse engineer or copy our software.
Keep an eye on what TwoWork spits out. If something looks off, let us know at mail@twowork.app so we can fix it.
Use TwoWork responsibly — nothing illegal or harmful goes into our system.
You are not allowed to put social security numbers, or similar sensitive data, into TwoWork.
2.4 Compliance with Time Registration Law
TwoWork provides a time registration tool. It is your responsibility as the employer to ensure that your use of TwoWork meets the requirements of applicable laws and regulations — including the Danish Working Hours Act (arbejdstidsloven) and the EU Working Time Directive.
TwoWork does not provide legal advice, and using TwoWork does not in itself guarantee compliance with any legal requirements. If you are unsure about your obligations, we recommend seeking legal counsel.
2.5 Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Using TwoWork for illegal activities
- Uploading harmful content
We will notify you by email before taking action, unless immediate suspension is needed for security reasons.
If we terminate your account for a violation of these terms, no refund will be issued for the remaining billing period.
3. Monthly Insights (Optional feature)
3.1 What It Is
We offer an optional AI feature that analyzes your time data to give you monthly insights.
It's turned off by default — company admins have to switch it on in company settings.
The AI looks at work patterns and suggests improvements for time tracking accuracy.
3.2 How It Works
When your company turns on Insights, we send time registration data to AI services (like Anthropic) for analysis.
This includes time registration data such as employee names, work hours, breaks, and notes.
The AI processes your data, gives us the insights, then deletes your data within 7 days - we don't train AI models with it.
Company admins can turn it off anytime.
3.3 What You Should Know
Monthly Insights are suggestions that need verification before taking action.
We can't guarantee the AI is always 100% right.
Your data gets processed by the AI services provider with proper security measures and is encrypted to-and-from the provider.
Your insights stay in your company account — we don't share them with anyone.
Our AI features are informational tools only — they don't fall under high-risk AI as defined by the EU AI Act.
4. Service Delivery and Support
4.1 Updates and Maintenance
We'll update the software regularly to improve it.
Updates might mean TwoWork is down for a bit. We'll keep downtime to a minimum and aim for quiet times (like late nights) to keep the hassle low.
4.2 Customer Support
Got a question or problem? We are here to help! Email us at support@twowork.app, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
4.3 Subcontractors
We use third-party service providers to help deliver our service. For a full list, see our Data Processing Agreement.
5. Financial Terms
5.1 Payment Methods
Standard payment is by credit card subscription through our payment processor. Card subscriptions are billed monthly.
Manual invoicing is available upon request. Each invoice includes a 200 DKK handling fee to cover administrative costs.
Regardless of payment method, the no-refund policy in Section 1.4 applies.
5.2 Payments and Billing
Card subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Invoice customers are billed upfront for the agreed period.
Prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and exclude VAT, which we will add at checkout.
You can manage your billing settings on the Company page.
If you need invoices sent to a specific email address, just drop us a line at mail@twowork.app.
5.3 Late Payments
Late payments will incur interest at the rate set out in §5 of the Danish Interest Act (renteloven), and a 200 DKK fee per reminder.
6. Legal and Compliance
6.1 Liability
We work hard to keep TwoWork reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or available 100% of the time, or that it will fit every specific need you may have.
We're not responsible for issues caused by misuse or incorrect use of TwoWork.
We are not liable for indirect losses — such as lost profits, lost business, or lost data — arising from your use of TwoWork.
Our total liability for any claim related to TwoWork is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for disruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet outages, third-party service failures, cyberattacks, or natural disasters (force majeure). If such an event lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The liability cap above does not apply to obligations arising under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR). Our liability for personal data breaches or non-compliance with data protection obligations is not limited by these terms and will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
6.2 Confidentiality
We'll keep your data confidential and secure.
We only share it if the law says we must (like a court order) — otherwise, it is between us.
6.3 Disputes
Danish law applies to this agreement.
If a disagreement comes up, we'll both try to resolve it through good-faith negotiation within 30 days before taking it to court.
If we can't work it out, the dispute will be settled in Danish courts.
6.4 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
6.5 Waiver
If we don't enforce a rule in these terms right away, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later. For example, if we don't charge interest on a late payment once, we can still do so next time.
6.6 Indemnification
If we get hit with a claim, fine, or expense because you broke these terms or misused TwoWork, you agree to cover us for it. Think of it as: you're responsible for the consequences of how you use our service.
6.7 Warranty Disclaimer
TwoWork is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
This does not affect any rights you may have under mandatory applicable law.
7. Changes and Communications
7.1 Updates to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
Changes that benefit you or are neutral (e.g., grammatical errors, new features, clarifications to GDPR/DPA) may take effect immediately without prior notice.
Changes that could negatively affect you (e.g., price increases, removal of features, new restrictions) will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
If a negative change is significant, you can terminate your agreement before it takes effect.
7.2 Product Updates
We will let you know about cool new features or changes via email or in-app notes.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
Your data is primarily stored within the EU. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA — for example to our sub-processors — we ensure a valid transfer basis is in place, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
All our service providers follow strict privacy rules and are bound by data processing agreements. See Section 4.3 for details.
We keep your data private and secure. We'll only share it if the law says we must.
If you turn on AI Insights, check out Section 3 for how that data gets processed.
